Pilotryx Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy

This Policy explains how Pilotryx uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies on the Pilotryx website.
Pilotryx is a trade name operated by an individual software developer.
In this Policy, “Pilotryx,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that individual operator.
Privacy questions may be sent to:
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text values stored by a website or service in a browser.
Local storage is browser storage that allows a website to retain information on a device between page visits.
Similar technologies may include security tokens, browser identifiers, and scripts used to provide a requested function or protect a service.
Some technologies are set directly by Pilotryx. Others are set by service providers acting on behalf of Pilotryx.
2. Technologies currently used
The Pilotryx website currently uses technologies intended for website operation, security, recording cookie choices, and optional website analytics.
Pilotryx uses Google Analytics only after you enable Analytics Cookies through the cookie banner or Cookie Preferences. If you reject optional cookies, leave Analytics Cookies disabled, or have not yet made a choice, the website does not load the Google Analytics tag.
Pilotryx does not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, cross-site advertising cookies, or marketing-profile cookies.

The value records privacy preferences. It is not used to identify a visitor for advertising.
Where browser local storage is unavailable, the same value may be stored as a first-party cookie.
4. Google reCAPTCHA
The Pilotryx testing form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam, automated submissions, fraud, and abuse.
When reCAPTCHA is executed, Google may process browser, network, interaction, device, and security information required to provide risk analysis.
reCAPTCHA may set necessary browser storage, including the _GRECAPTCHA cookie.

Pilotryx uses reCAPTCHA information for security purposes and not for advertising.
5. Optional analytics cookies

Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect website-usage information after activation. Pilotryx does not load the Google Analytics tag if you reject optional cookies or leave Analytics Cookies disabled.
Google Analytics is the only optional analytics technology currently used. Pilotryx does not activate optional personalization, advertising, or marketing scripts.
Any future optional analytics, advertising, or marketing technology must remain disabled until any legally required consent has been obtained and this Policy has been updated.
6. Managing browser storage
You can remove Pilotryx cookies and local-storage records through your browser settings.
Blocking or deleting reCAPTCHA storage may prevent the testing form from working because reCAPTCHA is used to protect the form against automated abuse.
Deleting the Pilotryx consent-preference record may cause the cookie notice or preference interface to appear again.
Browser controls differ by browser and device. Consult the privacy or site-data controls provided by your browser.
7. Cookie preferences
Where Pilotryx offers a cookie-preference interface, you may reopen it using the “Cookie Preferences” control in the website footer.
Strictly necessary technologies cannot be disabled through that interface because they are used to provide security or remember your privacy choice.
Where Pilotryx uses only strictly necessary technologies, the website may display an informational notice instead of requesting consent for optional categories.
8. Changes to this Policy
Pilotryx may update this Policy when browser technologies, service providers, or website features change.
The revised Policy will be posted with a new effective date. Where legally required, Pilotryx will request consent before activating a new optional technology.
